Friend, Thanks For Being You | By Eloise Blue

Hello everyone and Happy New Year! Eloise here for my first post of 2019 and today I have a friendship thank you card to share with you all. I’ll be using the Circle Burst Stencil as well as the Best Friend stamp set for todays project.

To start off my project I took a piece of white watercolour cardstock and adhered it down to my ranger craft sheet. I then took the Circle Burst Stencil and starting ink blending.

I wanted to make a bursting rainbow today, so I took 10 colours of Distress Inks out and worked my way around making sure they were all getting blended in order. This stencil has cool embossed lines on it as well, so it’s easy to get it spaced out and lined up every time. Once my background was ink blended I flicked it with water and dried it off with a heat tool.

For my sentiment, I took the Best Friend stamp set, stamped and die cut the word friend and also white heat embossed the additional sentiment ‘Thanks For Being You’ onto a thin black strip. I added foam tape onto both and adhered them into place.

For a last finishing touch I pulled some white enamel dots from my stash and adhered them into place, just scattering them around.

Thanks for stopping by today, I hope you enjoyed. The video is linked down below for you all to watch.

See you next time!
