Magnet Gift Card | by Jennifer Svare

Hello! I’m so excited to share today’s project! The gorgeous Flora Heart Layer Set is the focal image of the card, of course, but it’s also a refrigerator magnet that can be removed and used.

For the background, I traced the outline of the heart onto watercolor paper, and watercolored a background piece. I’ll show two ideas for this in the video. I chose to watercolor because I love how the colors mix, but many different mediums could be used to create endless color combinations. It could even be made to match the recipient’s kitchen. Great gift idea for sending a Valentine to a friend, or a congrats to a new home.

My fridge is white, but this would look stunning on a stainless steel fridge! In the video below, I’ll show you my favorite, extra strong magnets to use, and how I put this together. It’s such a fun, easy project! Many, many of the Birch Press dies would work for this project. Go through your stash and have FUN!
