Meet the Design Team
Hi crafty friends! My name is Amanda and I’m so thrilled to be joining the design team for Birch Press Designs. I’ve been married to my best friend for almost 13 years, but together for almost 20! We have one daughter who is 13, and three fur babies at home, 2 cats and a pup.
My day job doesn’t have anything creative about it so I really enjoy my time in the craft room. I’ve been making cards for over 20 years but really took things to another level just in the last few. I look forward to the adventures this amazing opportunity brings! You can follow my crafting journey on my blog at twiddlersnook.blog.
I have been crafty for as long as I can remember, but I really found my passion in 2005 when I designed and created my own wedding invitations in an effort to save money. I staged my own engagement photos and and printed our favorite image on vellum. The vellum photo was an overlay to a linen paper invitation. Little did I know that saving money 15 years ago most certainly did NOT in the long run!
In 2012 I began teaching classes in my home studio to share my love of papercrafting with others. I have discovered I enjoy teaching just as much as I love creating. I have had the benefit of teaching at craft trade shows with Scrapbook Expo and Stamp Scrap Art Tour. I dream of attending CHA one of these days! When I’m not crafting, I enjoy baking, reading, yoga, consignment shopping and playing board games with my family. I’m also a wife and cat mom to three who lives in Western Massachusetts.
Hello Everyone! My name is Desiree and since about the time I spoke my first word, I’ve been an avid crafter alongside my mom and sister. You name the craft and I’ve probably made it and collected it. I simply find so much joy in working with my hands and creating something with paper! There is so much we can do with it and in the paper crafting world we see it over and over! There’s nothing better! I also love helping people become inspired and seeing them find THEIR happy through THEIR creations in our paper crafting world!. Be Creative everyday!
Hi, everyone! My name is Dilay (most call me Dee) and I currently live in Connecticut with my amazing husband and two fur babies. I have been crafting for as long as I can remember, but my true passion is designing and creating cards. If I’m not working or spending time with my family, I’m in my craft room making a beautiful mess. It’s my happy place! I am so excited and honored to be a part of this amazing design team. I look forward to sharing my creations with you!
I live in Northwest Indiana (near Chicago) with my DH and one very large fur baby – an Akita I call Miss Moriko. I like to read, garden and cook but I have been completely captivated by card making and paper crafts. I love to mix and match different pattern papers and can’t resist a rainbow of colors. My time crafting is a sweet escape and a fun way to express myself. I started my blog
A Kept Life in 2011 and feel so blessed with the many friends I’ve made who share my paper crafting obsession. I can’t wait to share my creations with you.
Hi, friends! My name is Leigh, and I am a papercrafter living in New Jersey with my husband, two kids, a dog and two cats. I am an attorney by trade, but I put my practice on hold to stay home with my amazing kids. I started my papercrafting journey a few years ago, but I have been crafting my whole life thanks to my wonderfully talented mom who dabbled in everything from sewing, card making, beading, cross stitching, and more while I was growing up. I credit her with my love of creating pretty things.
I love stitching as much as I love papercrafting, and you’ll often find me combining the two in my creations. I also love gardening (thus my affinity for flowers and nature in my cards), cooking, exercising and playing tennis. In other words, I am never bored!
I am so excited to be a part of the Birch Press Design team and for the opportunity to share my creations with you!
Hi Everyone, I’m Renee’ Moran and my blog is Delaney Jane Cards and I don’t remember a time when I wasn’t creative. I enjoyed art classes as a kid and the local 4H group and all the other crafty clubs I could join. I currently live in Southeastern Wisconsin with my husband and we have a collective 8 children, our three youngest are at home and that keeps us very busy. I lived in Northwestern Wisconsin for several years and that is where I established my love of cardmaking. I started out as a scrapbooker when I was pregnant with my oldest, now 22! I converted entirely to cardmaking in about 2005 or 2006. In my spare time, I am in my craft room as often as possible, it is my me time for sure. I’m a cardmaker through and through. I don’t specialize in anything but dabble in everything. I started my blog in 2014 shortly after my husband and I lost our daughter Delaney Jane, and I started my YouTube channel, DelaneyJaneCards in 2019. My style is usually layered and uncluttered but I dabble in every medium I can get my hands on and try anything that inspires me. I have enjoyed this crafty journey and cannot wait to see what I dabble in next and I’m excited to share along the way. I am thrilled to be designing with Birch Press Designs and the phenomenal talent already on the team. I love to create, share and inspire and most of all I love to give cards and as I always say, Give Cards Generously!
I grew up just north of Chicago and currently live right across the bay from San Francisco. I stumbled into, and fell in love with, cardmaking in 2017 when I decided I wanted to challenge my brain by doing something very different from how I spend most of my time. By day, I’m a digital product manager working on websites and mobile apps and now by night, I’m an inky card maker. Little did I know how much joy, and how many wonderful people and travel opportunities, this craft would bring into my life!
Hi there, I’m Tracey McNeely and my crafty blog is In My Creative Opinion! My husband and I live in the beautiful Muskokas of Ontario, Canada and we have two children who are now young adults–Ben (25) and Brooklyn (22). I have been crafting in some form as long as I can remember, but my love affair with paper, stamps and ink started way back in the 90’s! I always love to try something new but playing with Distress Oxides seems to be something that is hanging on! I love to share, teach and inspire and what better to do that with than products from Birch Press Design!
