Hello Everyone and Welcome Back!

For today’s project I am featuring the Butterfly Basics Die Set! This set will provide many hours of creative Butterflies!

This set is perfect to use up those scraps we just cannot put into the trash. So, I dug into my stash and pulled out aqua colors from my ink smooshed backgrounds and also my solid card stocks.

Once I completed all my die cutting, I started building my butterfly! Have fun with you die cuts and work like you would a puzzle. The possibilities are endless in how you can build your image with this die set!

For the final layer I used a piece of vellum to soften my image. I set my butterfly aside for it dry and worked on my mats for my card base. I chose Black card stock to make the image pop – this piece was cut to 4 ¼ in x 5 ½ in. My next aqua mat was cut to 4 in x 5 ¼ in. The panel my image will be displayed on was cut to 3 ¾ in x 5 in.

I stamped my sentiment using the Open Studio Big and Little Reverse Words!

Layered all my panels onto a standard A2 size top folding card base measuring 4 ¼ in x 5 ½ in.

As always, I hope you enjoyed today’s project… and if you want to see more details just click on the video below and see how these projects come together step by step!
