Hello! Seeka here and I hope you’re having a nice day! Today I have a quick and easy card featuring the Glimmer Butterfly die set.

I started off by cutting the three layers for the butterfly. I used the solid layer from the Butterfly Basics die set to cut light pink cardstock, and then I used Glimmer Butterfly layers A and B to cut white and dark pink cardstock, respectively. I also used a die from the Butterfly Basics die set to cut the butterfly’s body out of light gray cardstock.

I adhered the layers of the butterfly together using glue and glue dots only at the center of the butterfly so that the layers could lift away from each other at the tips of the butterfly’s wings.

Next, I created a quick background by spraying a shimmery blue spray over a 4.25″ x 5.5″ panel of white cardstock. I concentrated the color towards the bottom left corner of the panel. When the panel was dry, I trimmed 3/8″ off both the length and the width of the panel and then stamped a sentiment from the Brush Sentiments stamp set.

To finish, I adhered the butterfly to the background and then used foam tape to adhere the background to an A2-sized card base.

Thank you so much for visiting!
