Fall Fox | by Crystal Komara

Hello crafty friends and happy Tuesday! This is Design Team member Crystal Komara here with you today and I’m so excited to be using some of the gorgeous new products Birch Press Design has to offer!

Today I have used the Block Print Wise Fox and the Block Print Evergreen Trees to create this card. Let’s take a closer look at how I made it. . .

The base of this A2 sized card is made from 110 lb. Neenah Solar White Smooth cardstock. For the first layer, I pulled from my own stash of pre-made alcohol ink backgrounds and used a copper and orange colored print that I thought would made the fox well.

Next, I die cut a 2 1/2″ circle from the same 110 lb. Neenah Solar White smooth cardstock and positioned it to the left on the card. This will serve as the grounding base for the fox.

To create the fox, I used a combination of white, rust and brown cardstock. I assembled the layers of the fox using a fine-tip liquid glue and a paper of tweezers (the KEY to those small pieces!

Then I die cut the Block Print Evergreen Trees from brown, rust and mustard colored cardstock. Again, I assembled the layers with that fine-tip liquid glue.

I adhered the fox and the trees to the card using more fine-tip liquid glue and lastly I adhered the sentiment using the Warm Wishes vintage sentiment. I adhered the sentiment to the bottom right of the card using 3M foam adhesive for added dimension.

I hope you have enjoyed today’s card featuring some beautiful new products from Birch Press Design! Thanks for visiting and have a wonderfully creative day!

Crystal
