Square Fall-Themed Thanks | By Dilay Nacar

    Hello, friends!

Dee (justcallmedee.com) here, and I am back today with another fall-themed card using some of my favorite dies! This square card features the Linear Triangle and Autumn Breeze Plate dies! Let’s dive right in!

First, I trimmed down a piece of white cardstock down to a 4.25” x 4.25” size. Next, I die cut two of the Linear Triangle’s and adhered one to each corner, covering the entire panel.

For the leaves, I die cut layer B from Autumn Breeze Layer die set and used only the negative pieces (in this case, the leaves) to ink blend! I blended each pink, orange, and green with small ink dangers and then set them aside to dry.

Before assembling the leaves, I first die cut the Big Thanks Sugar Script die and shadow in white, then stacked and adhered them together. I die cut it once more in gold and adhered that over the top.

To begin assembling, I adhered the ‘thanks’ to the center then added the leaves with foam adhesive.  Finally, I added gold metallic pearls and mounted the card onto a 4.25” x 4.25” top folding card base.

Thanks so much for joining me today!

Hello, friends! Dee here and today, I’m sharing a clean and simple fall-themed card that features the Classic Sentimental Wreath stamp and die set combined with the Petal Triangle layer dies. Let’s get started!

To begin, I cut down a piece of ivory cardstock to 4” x 5.24” then stamped and gold heat embossed a sentiment from the Classic Sentimental Wreath stamp set.

Next, I cut the Petal Triangle layer dies (A, B, and C) in the same ivory-colored cardstock, stacked and adhered them together, then mounted them onto the panel with foam adhesive.

For the leaves, I stamped each in three different colors then tucked and adhered them behind the Petal Triangle layers.

To finish, I mounted the completed panel to an A2-sized, top-folding card base!

I hope that you liked this clean and simple design! Thank you so much for stopping by, until next time!

Arista Hugs | By Dilay Nacar

Hello again, friends! Dee here today sharing a simple to recreate, yet delicately detailed, card featuring the new Arista layering dies!

To begin, I die cut the Arista layers (A, B, and C) from white cardstock, then stacked and adhered them together. Next, I die cut layer A only in 4 different colors of cardstock and adhered each onto an A2-sized card base, trimming off the excess and using that to fill in any gaps/holes for a fuller background.

Next, I adhered the white Arista layers onto the center of the panel, and added gold bobbles for a bit of extra dimension and sparkle! To finish, I die cut the Handwritten Hugs in gold glitter and the outline in white cardstock, adhered them together then onto the center of the card using square foam adhesive.

Simple, right? If you’ve seen my cards, you already know that I love stretching my supplies and using dies to create my own backgrounds. The possibilities really are endless! Thank you so much for stopping by!

  • Dazzle Mini Frame Thanks | By Dilay Nacar

Dazzle Mini Frame Thanks | By Dilay Nacar

Welcome back, friends! Dee here and today, I’m sharing a fun card featuring the Dazzle Mini Frame Die, but used for a traditional A2-sized card! I absolutely love the diversity of these layering dies! Let’s get started!

I began with an A2-sized base and die cut all layers (A, B, and C) of the Dazzle Mini Frame Die, twice. I wanted to add a bit of color to the frames so I placed Layer C onto a splat box and sprayed it with shades of purple, teal, and blue acrylic paint. Once dry, I adhered the frame together then onto the A2-base, side-by-side, to create a full panel.

Next, I die cut the Big Sugar Script Thanks in white and repeated the same steps as above, this time spraying the shadow layer with acrylic paint. Once dry, I adhered the white ‘thanks’ to the shadow, then the completed sentiment onto the center of the frames, with foam square adhesive. To finish, I mounted the card onto an A2-sized top-folding base.

I hope that you enjoyed these variations using the Dazzle Mini Frame Die! Thank you so much for stopping by!

Dazzle Mini Frame Slimline | By Dilay Nacar

Welcome, friends! Dee here and today, I’m sharing a simple and vibrant slimline card featuring the new Dazzle Mini Frame Die! Let’s get started!

First, I created the base by cutting a piece of white cardstock down to 3” x 8.5” and ink-blending it with Distress Oxide inks. In this case, I used a combination: Candy Apple, Spiced Marmalade, Mustard Seed, and Squeezed Lemonade.

Next, I die cut layers A, B, and C of the Dazzle Mini Frame die layers two times in white cardstock, making two complete frames, then adhered them (mirrored) onto the base.

For the sentiment, I die cut the Thanks Honey Script die and shadow in white and ink blended the shadow with the same Distress Oxide ink colors as before. I adhered the word die to the shadow then adhered that, centered, between the two frames. For the sub sentiment, I heat embossed ‘my friend’ from the Happy Lingo stamp set and adhered it underneath the main sentiment with foam squares. To finish, I adhered the panel to a top-folding slimline card base!

I hope that you enjoyed my card showcasing this beautiful new frame die, and are inspired to create one of your own! Thank you so much for stopping by!

Mini Slimline Butterfly Basics | By Dilay Nacar

Hello, friends! Dee (@dilaynacar) here and I am super excited to share this mini slimline card that features the brand new Butterfly Basics die set! This adorable set includes 9 dies, and coordinates perfectly with Birch Press Design’s other butterfly die sets! Let’s get started!

To begin, I die cut a piece of white cardstock down to a 3.5” x 6” panel, then die cut the butterfly wing and body die three times in white and three times in black cardstock. I wanted a subtle yet intricate background, so I adhered the white butterflies directly onto the white base.

Next, I die cut solid backings for the black butterflies, ink blending each with Distress Oxide inks. Once dry, I adhered a black butterfly cutout onto each colored backing then onto the background with foam squares, trimming off the excess.

To complete the card, I heat embossed a sentiment from the Happy Lingo stamp set and adhered it to the card with foam tape. As a finishing touch, I added black embellishments and mounted the card onto a side-folding mini slimline base.

  • Hello Friend | By Dilay Nacar

Hello Friend | By Dilay Nacar

Welcome, friends! Dee (@dilaynacar) here and today I will be sharing a clean and simple card with pops of color, perfect for any occasion!

To get started, I cut multiple shades of colored and silver glitter cardstock (you can use any color for this step) into thin strips. I then used tape runner to adhere the strips onto a piece of white cardstock to create a background design to later die cut. I then set this aside to dry and started on the next step.

For the background of the card, I cut a piece of heavyweight white cardstock to an A2 size base as the panel. Next, I die cut only the ‘Kinsley Layer A’ die 3 times in white cardstock and adhered the 3 onto the panel in a design that I liked, trimming off any extra.

Next, I die cut hello and friend Big Sugar Script dies from the striped cardstock and the shadow dies in white, then adhered them together. I then mounted the word dies onto the card with foam squares.

To finish, I added a few silver sequins for extra sparkle! I hope you you enjoyed my post today and found some inspiration!

Jewel Toned Kinsley Layer Die | By Dilay Nacar

Welcome, friends! Dee (@dilaynacar) here and today I am sharing a bold and colorful jewel-toned card featuring the Kinsley layering die!

To begin, I die cut each of the Kinsley die layers with three different colors of cardstock: fuchsia, turquoise, and yellow. I cut the first two layers (A & B) in each color and cut the bottom layer (C) in gold glitter cardstock, then stacked and adhered them before adhering all three to a piece of navy cardstock. I then cut off excess from the edges.

For the sentiment, I die cut the Sugar Script Big Hello die three times in white, then stacked and adhered them together. I cut the shadow die in vellum and adhered it behind the stacked Hello for extra dimension, then adhered it to the center of the card.

Finally, I embellished the card with gold bobbles and mounted it onto an A2-sized top-folding card base.

Welcome, Crafters! Dee (@DilayNacar) here and today I am sharing a clean and sparkly encouragement card that features the new String Art Circle Collage die combined with two favorites of mine! Let’s get started and go over how to make this simple yet elegant card!

I began by die cutting the background out of white cardstock using with the Pinpoint Radial die, then die cut directly through the circle using the String Art die. Next, I die cut the String Art die twice more using two different shades from the Memory Box Graceful Garden glitter pad and used the negative pieces to fill in the circle on the background panel.

For the sentiment, I die cut the Big Sending Sugar Script die twice in white and once in black cardstock, stacked them for extra dimension, and adhered it to the card. To finish, I chose a sub sentiment from my stash to add underneath and added some clear sequins as an extra touch!

  • Pastel Petal Egg | By Dilay Nacar

Pastel Petal Egg | By Dilay Nacar

Welcome, friends! Dilay here and today I am sharing a sweet and simple Easter card featuring the brand new Petal Egg layering die combined with the new Memory Box Spring Plaid 6×6 paper pad!

For this card, I began by die cutting each layer (A, B, and C) of the Petal Egg die in white cardstock. For the bottom layer (C), I kept all of the negative pieces together with low tack tape placed on the back of the panel before removing it from the die.

Next, I picked out a selection of pastel inks and ink blended (in rainbow order) layer C then adhered layers B and A on top. I added a simple sentiment strip from my stash to the center of the egg and set it aside to begin working on the background.

For this step, I die cut a piece of patterned paper from the new Memory Box Spring Plaid 6×6 paper pad down to an A2 size and adhered it onto a top-folding white card base. Next, I cut down a piece of white cardstock to 3” x 4.25” and adhered that to the center of the patterned paper. Finally, I added the egg using a thin layer of foam tape and added a few clear sequins for some sparkle!
