    Time to Unwind!

    image

The weather is warming up which means spending more time outside! My favorite is at night when it’s not scorching hot, but not too chilly. The temperature is just right! I love pouring myself a glass of fresh lemonade and grabing a book to read outside on my porch while the sun is setting. Sounds too cliche? Try it! It’s my ideal way of winding down from a long day at work!

It’s time for me to change out those pillows on my bench! Birch Press Design recently got in the Bayfield Pillow Collection that is perfect for decorating your porch bench! The collection includes the colors brown, dark grey, sky, flax, taupe, and white. There is a neutral color that will go with every color scheme out there!

Take my advice and find some time at the end of the day to rest on your porch with some comfy, fluffy pillows! You’ll love it!

  • Seasonal Bedding

    Seasonal Bedding

    image

One thing I love to do when the season changes is redecorate my bed room a tad to get into the spirit!

I’ll do for summer a light stripped bedding for Autumn, a warm yellow print for spring, a white for autumn, and for winter a deep blue or a deep red color.

Changing things up a bit helps me to feel excited for any season that is coming my way.

I found the cutest DIY to help make my room feel more homey! I can’t wait to get started- it’s about time for some change around my place.

Let Birch Press help you and the family to get into every season this year with our wonderful bedding collection.

memory box 2-4Flavored sugars – infused with mint, lavender or lemon verbena – add a lovely note to fresh fruits, sun teas and lemonade.  Set the sweet sugars out in porcelain Thimble Cups, for adding just a bit, or as much as you want.

Hungry?  Add a savory finishing touch to grilled ribsteaks or corn on the cob with fresh herb compound butters served in Thimble Cups.  Chose the perfect color for your table setting, add a dollop of seasoned butter – and enjoy!

They’re great for everyday service too – just fill them with seasalt or a melange of freshly-ground peppercorns and set them near the cooktop, or on the dinner table.

Our stackable Thimble Cups are crafted in Oregon by Pigeon Toe Ceramics – and come in sets of four.

  • Strawberry Dream

In the summer time, a great family tradition is having an ice cream night. We get out our lovely homemade bowls and set up a lovely scene outside to sit and enjoy with friends and family. Almost any person on this planet enjoys ice cream. Whatever type of sweets you’re into there an ice cream flavor to go along with that dessert. Of course everyone has there favorite specialty ice cream but, what if you’re having a lot of people over like my family ice cream tradition? That is when the classic flavors come out. With their sweet but subtle taste it can be created into anyone’s favorite creation with toppings! I make an ice cream recipe that is classic and will please everyone!  This recipe will make about a quart which is the perfect size for having a few friends over for a bbq or maybe even a summer picnic.
