Hello and welcome! Seeka here and today I’m sharing a simple but colorful card featuring the Adornment Dove and the Big Joy Sugar Script die sets.
I started off by die cutting the dove three times from heavy white cardstock. I stacked and glued the layers together and then set it aside.
Next, I die cut the Joy sentiment from white cardstock and its shadow layer from vellum. I glued the layers together and then set it aside.
For the background, I used foam blending tools to blend Salvaged Patina, Peacock Feathers, and Lucky Clover Distress Oxide Inks onto a panel of Bristol Smooth cardstock. I trimmed the panel to about 4″ x 5.25″ and then used foam tape to adhere it to a card base.
To finish the card, I glued the dove to the background and then used foam tape to adhere the sentiment.
Thank you so much for visiting!
