Perky Sorbet Blooms | By Seeka

Hello and welcome! Seeka here and today I’m sharing a card featuring the Perky Blooms Contour Layer dies in fun sorbet colors.

I started off by die cutting the layers of the two blooms in four colors ranging from pale orange to grapefruit. I cut the stamen from navy blue and then glued the layers together.

Next, I used the Wiegela Leaf Contour Layers die set to cut leaves from a light aqua cardstock. I only used the bottom layer of the leaves so that the leaves had the same level of detail as the blooms.

Next, I used rose gold foil to create a sentiment using the Sugar Script Sentiments 2 hot foil plate and die set.

To assemble the card, used foam tape to adhere the flowers, leaves (which I had cut apart to have more flexibility in placing them), and sentiment to a background panel made using the Pinpoint Radial Plate die. Then I glued the card front to a top-folding card base.

Thank you so much for visiting!
