Hello Everyone!

I am back with another project, this time using the Tall Triangle Set with the believe Sugar Script Sentiment Die!

Hard to image a die so simple in shape can have so many possibilities!

For this card I wanted a deco or modern feel. So I went with a strong copper metallic card stock and shades of green and teal for my triangle die cuts. I layered most directly on top of each other using liquid adhesive but chose one layer on each triangle set to be popped up using my foam squares.

These were placed on my copper panel on an angel and trimmed of the edges even with my design base on the top and bottom.For my sentiment I used the Believe Sugar Script die. I cut multiple sentiments from black card stock and one from copper mirror to match the background.

Once these were set, I placed my sentiment between my two triangles.

I used my liquid adhesive to secure my panel to my standard A2 size top folding card base (4 1/4 inch x 5 1/2 inch).

Hello everyone!  Today I am on the blog featuring the beautiful Shining Mandala stamp set.  I wanted to keep it simple with today’s card, but stay tuned as I will definitely be bringing this stamp set back for future products.

So in addition to the Shining Mandala stamp set, I also used the Big Hello Sugar Script Die and the Gold Rose Handmade Paper.  Isn’t it lovely?!

To start off, I heat embossed the Shining Mandala stamp set with gold embossing powder.  I trimmed it down with a stitched scallop die.  I cut the handmade paper A2 size (5 1/2″ x 4 1/4″) to completely cover the card base.  I adhered the handmade paper to the card base and added dimensional to the scalloped embossed panel.  I die cut out the sentiment in black and some gold glitter card stock from my stash. Adhered the two, added dimensions, and adhered it to my card.  Topped the card off with some gold gem stones and called it done!  I love this card.  Simple, yet classy.  You could change the sentiment and it would make a wonderful Christmas card.

Happy Holidays everyone! It’s Justine here for my last holiday card of the season featuring an awesome Distress Oxide galaxy background technique. When I received the Nativity Star die I was absolutely blown away by its elegance and beauty that I had to play around with a fun background technique to suit it.

I used yellow, orange, pink, purple, green, navy and black ink in order to create the background. I used a really great and subtly cardstock layer combination as well – gold, silver, white glitter and vellum.

I paired the card with the Simple Joy sentiment that I love so much die cut using silver and gold cardstock. I love how the imprints of the joy make lining up the letters so easy!

Hi there, it’s Tracey back today with some more inspiration using Birch Press Design craft dies. There is something magical about snowflakes and even more magical when you combine them with some sparkle.
To create this card I die cut the Issa Snowflake Layer C with some white and silver sparkle cardstock. Once the cuts were cleaned out I used the inner portion of the die to create a white sparkle snowflake with the thin innermost layer inlaid with silver sparkle.
The background was created by blending some Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide ink on to a 5 1/4″ X 4″ piece of Bristol Smooth cardstock and then the panel was splattered with Copic Opaque White. Once it was dry I stamped the sentiment from the Joy and Peace in black ink onto the panel.
The snowflake was assembled right on the panel by first adhering the larger white snowflake to the centre over the sentiment and then the thin silver snowflake with inlaid into it. Lots of pretty sparkle and the blue ink blending behind it creates a very dreamy looking snowy scene.
The panel was attached to the card base using some foam tape for dimension.
Using sparkle cardstock with any of the Birch Press Design craft dies adds a special touch to your cards. Look at  how pretty the snowflake is with two shades of sparkle cardstock.

Hello Everyone!

I am back with another project using the Nativity Star and the Simple Peace Die Sets!

This die is one that is great for not only making a card, but also adding ornaments to your tree or even a gift to someone special!

I first die cut all my pieces and ready for assembly. I die cut each layer from the Nativity Star Die Set and also from the Simple Peace Die Set. The color I chose were very natural looking and had a warm feel to them, with a little gold sparkly to add a little sparkle.

When layering each piece I used my liquid adhesive to ensure a secure bond and set aside to set and dry.

I then placed my pieces onto my design base, cut at 4 1/8 inches x 5 3/8 inches, this way I knew where I wanted to place a touch of ink to sit just behind my star.

For my sentiment I used Simple Peace. This is a two-layer die set and for the second I chose a gold glitter card stock to add a touch of sparkle.

Once all my dies were glued together it is time to put our card together. I started by placing my star in place and used an acrylic block to make sure it dried flat onto your card base. Next my sentiment was set towards the bottom of my card.

Hello!  Today I am featuring several new products from Birch Press Design.  First, I stamped white card stock using the new Line Fade stamp set and die cut them out with the coordinating dies.

I did some die cutting, cutting out the second to largest triangle from the Tall Triangle die set and my sentiment, Joy, from the Simple Joy die.

I popped up the triangle and the Joy sentiment to create this quick and simple Christmas card.  You could use any color scheme to make the card for any occasion.  The Line Fade stamp set is so versatile and the die set as well.  You can find the process video below.  Enjoy!
