Inky Season’s Greetings | Dilay Nacar

Welcome back, friends! Dee here again sharing this vibrant, easy-to-recreate holiday card showcasing the Crochet Snowflakes layering dies!

To create the background, I used synthetic (Yupo) paper, alcohol ink, a blower, and blending solution. I chose three colors (coral, green, and blue) and used the blending solution and blower to create a background and once complete, I trimmed it down to A2 size.

Next, I die cut the Crochet Snowflakes layers A and C in white and silver glitter cardstock. I then adhered them together, slightly offset, then onto the center of the alcohol ink panel. To finish, I chose a precut sentiment strip from my stash and adhered it to the center!

I hope you enjoyed learning about today’s card and are inspired to get creative, too!

Next, I hot foiled the Big Sugar Script Hello foil plate in matte gold and cut it with the coordinating die, then cut it twice more in white to stack and add dimension. I then adhered it to the center of the Arista layers.

To finish, I cut the Simple Dragonfly Contour Layers in gold, pink, orange, green, and teal, then assembled and adhered them to the card.

Prime Peony Duo | By Dilay Nacar

Hello and welcome back, friends! Dee here today sharing a foiled floral card created using beautiful new products from the latest release! This card showcases the String Art Hot Foil Plate and Prime Peony Duo Contour Layers.

To start, I hot foiled a 4” x 5.25” piece of white cardstock with the String Art Frame foil plate. Next, I cut the Tranquility layers A and B in white cardstock and C in Holographic cardstock, then adhered them together. I cut the Prime Peony Duo Contour Layers in colored cardstock from the 6×6 paper packs and ink blended them — using corals for the blooms and teals for the stems and leaves, then adhered them together.

Next, I adhered the Tranquillity layers onto the foiled String Frame, then adhered the Tranquility layers to the center using foam adhesive. I then tucked the peonies into the circle and trimmed the excess stems. I cut the Handwritten Hello in holographic cardstock and the shadow in white and adhered it to the frame. To finish, I mounted the card onto a top-folding card base!

Thanks so much for joining me today! I hope this card inspires you to get creative and try something new!

Thinking of You | By Dilay Nacar

Welcome, crafty friends! Dee here sharing this card created using scraps to make a bold and colorful focal point! To start, I die cut the Pinpoint Radial die in white, then adhered it onto an A2-sized top folding card base. Next, I cut each layer of the Kinsley Layer Set from white cardstock and adhered them together. Once complete, I adhered the Kinsley Layer Set to the center of the Radial Pinpoint background.

As a paper crafter, I tend to have a lot of scraps and look for ways to use them as much as possible! For this card, I used a piece leftover that I had sprayed with acrylic paint that I die cut with the Tiny Tufts and Leaves Contour Layers die set.

Before adhering the Tiny Tufts and Leaves, I stamped ‘Thinking of you & best wishes’ from the Happy Lingo stamp set in black onto white cardstock, trimmed it down (keeping only ‘thinking of’), and set it aside. I then cut the ‘you’ from Happy Lingo coordinating die set in white and black cardstock and adhered them together. I then adhered to both sentiments to the center of the Kinsley Layers.

Once the sentiment was in place, I tucked the Tiny Tuft and Leaves behind the sentiment and secured them with liquid and foam adhesive. To finish, I added clear embellishments l to the leaves.

I hope you enjoyed today’s card and are inspired to create something new!  Thank you so much for stopping by!

Butterfly Hugs | By Dilay Nacar

Happy Friday, crafty friends! Dee here today sharing a fun and vibrant card featuring the brand new Simple Butterfly Contour Layers dies!

I began with a piece of watercolor paper and applied a few of my favorite colors using watercolor brush markers. Once dry, I die cut each of the butterflies multiple times (and the antennas in gold) and adhered them together.

Next, I die cut layer B of the Flora Plate Layer Set and adhered it onto an A2-sized white card base, then adhered each of the butterflies onto the card panel.

I cut the Big Sugar Script Hugs die in gold and the shadow in white and adhered it to the bottom corner. I used a sub-sentiment from my stash and adhered it above the ‘hugs’, and since I had one little butterfly left, I decided to add that on top!

Thank you much for stopping by!

Eucalyptus Stems & Berries | By Dilay Nacar

Hello, crafty friends! Dee here today sharing a card that features one of my favorite new die sets, Eucalyptus Stem and Berries Contour Layers, combined with the new Vintage Pastel Mirror Paper pad! Let’s get started!

To create the base, I embossed an A2-sized white panel using the Memory Box Blooming embossing folder, then splattered it with metallic gold watercolor paint, setting it aside to dry.

Next, I cut each of the stems and berries three times, using the lovely new Vintage Pastel Mirror Paper pad for the base and regular cardstock for the detail dies. Once complete, I adhered the pieces together.

Once the panel was dry, I adhered the stems to it using thin foam tape (trimming off any excess) then adhered the berries, cutting some apart to scatter throughout the stems.

For the sentiment, I die cut the Sugar Script ‘hello’ from the gold paper included in the Vintage Pastel Mirror Paper pad, then adhered it to the bottom corner. As a finishing touch, I added Memory Box Clear Fairy Drops embellishments and mounted the card onto a top-folding card base!

Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you enjoyed reading more about my card today!
