Fall Oak Leaves | By Seeka

Hello and welcome! Seeka here and today I’m sharing a card featuring the Adornment Oak Leaf die set.

I started by using Dylusions Pure Sunshine and Fiery Sunset ink sprays to spray a panel of white cardstock. When the panel was dry, I used the leaf outline die to cut out three leaves. Then I used the detail leaf die to cut three different shades of yellow and orange cardstocks. I glued the layers together and then set them aside.

Next, I used the Forest Canopy Layer C die to cut a panel of white cardstock. I glued the canopy panel to a card base and then added the leaves with foam tape. For the sentiment, I used the Thank You Noted Script hot foil plate and die and then added that to the card front.

Thank you so much for visiting!

Hello and welcome! Seeka here and today’s card features the Forest Leaf and Berries Contour Layers die set.

I doubled up on the berries, die cutting two sets, one out of red tones and one out of fuchsia tones. I also made two sets of leaves and two sets of stems. I glued the layers together and then arranged and adhered them, using foam tape, to a circle of white cardstock. I glued this to a slightly larger vellum circle to create a subtle frame.

To finish, I used foam tape to adhere the berry piece to a white panel cut with the Pinpoint Contour Plate and then added a matte gold sentiment made with the Handwritten Just A Note And Outline die set.

Hello and welcome! Seeka here and today I’m sharing a fall-themed card featuring the the Adornment Pumpkin.

I started by die cutting the pumpkin from three different shades of orange cardstock (the Sunny Orange 6×6 cardstock pack is a good option). Then I cut the leaves and stem from shades of green and brown cardstock. I used a blending brush and orange, green, and brown inks to add shading to die cut pieces and then glued them all together.

For the background, I used the Forest Canopy Layer C frame die to cut a peace of green cardstock. I glued the piece to a panel of white cardstock and then used foam tape to adhere the pumpkin, leaves, and stem. To finish, I added a sentiment from my stash and glued the card front to a card base.

Hello and welcome! Seeka here and today I’m sharing a card featuring the gorgeous Large Cosmos Contour Layers die set.

I started by cutting the four petal layers from three different colors of bright pink coral and pink cardstock. I cut the center of the flower from an orange-y yellow cardstock and then I glued the layers together.

For the background, I used the Forest Canopy Layer C die to cut two pieces of white cardstock. I glued the die cut frames together to give the piece dimension. Next, I blended aqua ink over one end of a 4.25″ x 5.5″ panel of white cardstock and then I glued the frame over the panel.

To assemble the card, I used foam tape to adhere the cosmos to the background and then I added a small sentiment from my stash. Finally, I glued the card front to a card base.

    Framed Crocus | By Seeka

Hello and welcome! Seeka here today sharing a card featuring the Sprouting Crocus Contour Layers die set.

I started off by creating seven crocuses in shades of purple and blue cardstock (some nice options are available in the Ocean Blue and Twilight Purple 6×6 paper packs). I used light purple and blue cardstock for the flowers’ centers, and then used a small blending brush to ink blend a bit of darker purple and darker blue inks towards the bases of those pieces. The result is a bit of shading and dimension at the base of the inner petals of each flower. Next, I cut the leaves from green cardstock and then used glue to adhere the pieces of each flower together.

For the background, I used the Pinpoint Radial Plate to cut a piece of white cardstock. Then I used a circle die from my stash to cut out a window from the panel. Next, I blended an aqua ink over a 4.25″ x 5.5″ panel of white cardstock, concentrating the color towards the bottom of the panel and letting it fade up towards the top. Using foam tape, I adhered the window panel to the aqua panel.

To finish the card, I tucked the blooms into the window and then used foam tape to hold them in place. I added a small sentiment from my stash and then glued the card front to a top-folding card base.

For the background, I cut all three layers of the Tranquility layer die set from white cardstock and then glued them together. I glued the Tranquility piece to a white panel that I cut with the Pinpoint Radial Plate die.

Next, I used a combination of glue, adhesive dots, and foam tape to adhere the blooms and leaves.

I finished the card by adding a sentiment from my stash and then gluing the card front to a card base.

Clean And Simple Dazzle | By Seeka

Hello and welcome! Seeka here with a quick and easy card design that’s perfect for putting any extra background panels you have to use. This card features the Dazzle Mini Frame Layer die set and the Pinpoint Contour Plate.

I started off by cutting all three layers of the Dazzle Mini Frame from heavy white cardstock and then gluing the three pieces together.

Next, I made an easy ink-sprayed background. I used Lemon Zest, Island Parrot, and Blue Lagoon Dylusions Ink Sprays to spray a large piece of white cardstock and then trimmed a 3.25″ x 4.5″ piece that I thought would be a nice backdrop to the die-cut piece. I glued the Dazzle Frame to the sprayed panel and then used foam tape to adhere the combined piece to a background I made using the Pinpoint Contour Plate.

To finish, I glued the card front to a card base.

    Spring Herbarium | By Seeka

Hello and welcome! Seeka here and today I’m sharing another card featuring the Herbarium Plate die set. I used an ink-blended Layer A piece left over from a card I shared in November, these colors are Picked Raspberry, Saltwater Taffy, and Wild Honey Distress Oxide inks.

I die cut layer B three times from heavy white cardstock and then glued the three layers together. Next, I glued the ink-blended layer on top and then glued the combined piece to a white card base.

I used the Big Hello Sugar Script die set to create the large sentiment. I cut the detail layer from a piece of cardstock inked with Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide ink, and then I glued it to the shadow layer which I cut from white cardstock. To finish the card, I used foam tape to adhere the die cut sentiment, as well a small sentiment from my stash, to the card front.

Blended Banner Heart | By Seeka

Hello and welcome! Seeka here and today I’m sharing a clean and simple card featuring the Banner Heart Layer A die against a background made with the Pinpoint Contour Plate.

I started off by using foam blending tools to blend Picked Raspberry, Abandoned Coral, and Carved Pumpkin Distress Oxide inks over a small panel of Bristol Smooth cardstock. I used the Banner Heart Layer A die to cut the panel and then used it three more times to cut white cardstock. I stacked and adhered the four outline layers together with the ink-blended die cut on top. Then, I inlaid the ink-blended fallout pieces and used clear tape on the back side of the heart to hold the pieces together.

Next, I used the Pinpoint Contour Plate to die cut a piece of white cardstock. I trimmed the panel to about 3.75″ x 5″ and then glued the heart to it. To finish, I used foam tape to adhere the card front to light pink 4.25″ x 5.5″ card base and added a sentiment from my stash.
