Hello everyone, Alicia here.  I hope everyone had a lovely Thanksgiving for those that celebrate.  Next up is Christmas, and I’m so ready for the flood of Christmas card inspiration.

Today I made a card featuring the gorgeous Nativity Star Layering Die Set.  I used white card stock with a touch of some glitter card stock in purple and silver to cut out each layer.  My goal was to do a night sky, but incorporate more purples.  I used Distress Oxide Inks in Wilted Violet, Blueprint Sketch, Faded Jeans and Black Soot.

I used the Joy and Peace stamp and die set for my sentiment and heat embossed it in white on black card stock.  I then popped everything up with dimensionals and added some sequins for extra sparkle.  I have included a video below, so you can check out the process of how I put this card together.  Enjoy!

Hello friends, Eloise here and today I thought I would lay off the Christmas cards and just make an everyday friend themed card using the Calen Layering Set along with the Best Friend stamp set.

To start off my project today I die cut all the layers from some coloured cardstock. I used the image below as inspiration.

I made sure to cut all three layers from each colour to create different combinations. Once they were all die cut I adhered them together using liquid glue.

I then cut down a card base from some natural cardstock and adhered my layered pieces in the centre and then cut off the over hanging edges.

Lastly I stamped out the sentiments from the Best Friend stamp set. I stamped the ‘Friend’ word on white with black and die cut it out, then used the ‘You Amaze Me’ and white heat embossed that on a black strip. I popped them up on foam tape and adhered them into place.

Today I am featuring a card using brand new products from the new release.  I was so excited to work with this Prismatic Triangle Layering Die and the new Big Hello Sugar Script Die.

I decided I wanted to create a pretty clean and simple card with just a pop of color.  I brought in a variety of Distress Oxide Inks and blended some color onto some Bristol Smooth card stock.  I then cut out each layer with white card stock and placed the color pieces back into the triangles.

I added my sentiment and some clear sparkling sequins and that is all there is to it!  I love this layering die because each of the layers can be used alone, but layering them up sure gives it a dramatic look.

Hello Everyone!
I am back with another project using the Splash layering die set! This die is just perfect for all occasions and I thought it was perfect for a thank you card.

To match the movement this die creates I just knew I had to have soft shades of shimmer papers from my stash. I used shades of pool, silver and beige for my design and the inside of my standard A2 (4 1/4 inch x 5 1/2 inch) size card.
I cut a 2 inch section from the front of my card base so my focal image would extend off the front of my card and adhered a piece of velum and pool card stock to the inside.

I used a simple sentiment from the Best Friend stamp set and heat embossed it in fine detail white powder. Framed it using my beige shimmer card stock and added to the top of my card.

Hi friends, Eloise here and today I have a quick and easy Christmas card to share with you all. Birch Press Designs Dies I feel are some of the best dies to create quick and easy cards with, so for Christmas time – this is perfect for mass producing.

To start off my project today I pulled a piece of gold glitter paper and cut it at an angle (if you were to mass produce this design, you could easily use gold foil paper, or create your own glitter cardstock using embossing powder). I also cut a piece of white cardstock to the same angle as well.

Next I used the Metro Triangle Collage dies and ran it through my Big Shot Machine with the white cardstock piece. While I had my die cutting machine out, I also die cut the ‘Believe‘ word from red cardstock. I then glued the white die cut panel onto some dark green cardstock.

Lastly, I used the Joy and Peace stamp set and stamped the ‘The Season to’ sentiment onto the white strip and adhered the ‘Believe’ word next to it using foam tape. I added adhesive onto the backs of both the white and gold pieces and adhered them to a card base.

Layering dies make Christmas cardmaking so easy to do! Justine here again with another process video on how to create this simple layered look to create stunning Christmas cards this holiday season. A lot of it is cardstock choice and you can get a million different looks depending on the cardstock used. I chose a baby blue, silver and white glitter to create this card.

I began with a piece of 4 1/4 by 5 1/2 sea glass cardstock and die cut it using the Dotted Rectangle Layers die to create a pretty frame that reminded my of tiny snowflakes. I then die cut all the layers of the Trina snowflake using equally subtle colours. I glued them all together and topped off the card with a Merry Christmas sentiment!

Jeanne here today!  There’s something about bright, bold colors that just makes me happy.  Today I’m sharing this butterfly card on a rainbow background.

I’m a big fan of Distress Ink, and when the Distress Oxide was released a while back, it took me a while to catch on to the trend.  It’s biggest advantage in my opinion is it’s creamy texture and blendability.

I inked up a panel of white card stock with Picked Raspberry, Candied Apple, Spiced Pumpkin, Mustard Seed, Mowed Lawn, Blueprint Sketch and Wilted Violet.   I splattered the panel with water and then with some Dr. Ph. Martins Bleed Proof White Ink.
I topped the panel with the Triangle Fade Frame cut from white card stock.  I love the fresh triangles and the gradient pattern.

I stamped the butterfly from the Close to the Heart Stamp set with Memento Ink and colored it with Copic Markers.  I used the coordinating die to cut a second butterfly from gold glitter paper.  I created a U shaped fold down the center of the colored butterfly the size of the black card stock body.  This allowed me to adhere the butterfly under this area and made it possible to fold the wings.
