    Early Blossoms | By Seeka

Hello and welcome! Seeka here and today I’m sharing a card featuring the Early Blossom Contour Layers die set.

I started off by cutting the three layers of blooms’ petals in peachy pink sorbet colors and the stems and leaves from a blue cardstock. I glued the layers of the flowers together and then set all the die cut pieces aside.

Next, I used the Pinpoint Radial Plate die to cut a piece of white cardstock. I trimmed the panel down to about 3.75 x 5″ and then used foam tape to adhere the flowers. Then I glued the stems and leaves in place.

To finish, I added a sentiment from my stash and used foam tape to adhere the card front to a light blue base.

Hello and welcome! Seeka here and today I’m sharing a card featuring the Perky Blooms Contour Layer dies in fun sorbet colors.

I started off by die cutting the layers of the two blooms in four colors ranging from pale orange to grapefruit. I cut the stamen from navy blue and then glued the layers together.

Next, I used the Wiegela Leaf Contour Layers die set to cut leaves from a light aqua cardstock. I only used the bottom layer of the leaves so that the leaves had the same level of detail as the blooms.

Next, I used rose gold foil to create a sentiment using the Sugar Script Sentiments 2 hot foil plate and die set.

To assemble the card, used foam tape to adhere the flowers, leaves (which I had cut apart to have more flexibility in placing them), and sentiment to a background panel made using the Pinpoint Radial Plate die. Then I glued the card front to a top-folding card base.

Hello and welcome! Seeka here and today I’m sharing bright and bold card featuring the Large Cosmos Contour Layers die set and the Rose Leaves Contour Layers die set.

I started off by die cutting the four layers of petals from a variety of pink, peach, and yellow cardstocks and the flower center from blue cardstock. I cut each layer twice so I could make two big blooms. I glued the layers together and then I used the Rose Leaves die set to cut several leafy stems from white cardstock.

To assemble the card, I used foam tape to adhere the blooms to a 4.25″ x 5.5″ panel of white cardstock. Next, I tucked the leaves under the blooms and used glue and foam tape to hold them in place. I added a small sentiment from my stash and finished by gluing the card front to a card base.

Hello and welcome! Seeka here and today I’m sharing a clean and simple card featuring the new Early Blossom Contour Layers die set. These sweet blooms come together so easily!

I started by cutting the three layers of the blooms from three different shades of pink cardstock. Then I cut the two layers of the leaves and the stems from two shades of blue cardstock. I layered and glued the pieces together and then set them aside.

For the background, I used the Arista Layer B die from the Arista Layer die set to cut a piece of white cardstock. I cut the resulting medallion into quarters and glued each quarter to the corner of a rectangular piece of cardstock.

To assemble the card, I used foam tape and glue to adhere the blooms, stems, and leaves to the Arista panel, and then I used foam tape to adhere the card from to a 4.25″ x 5.5″ card base. To finish, I added a small sentiment from my stash.

Hello and welcome! Seeka here and today I’m sharing a card featuring the Jovial Blooms and Leaves Contour Layer flowers with a large leaf made with the Curved Leaf Branch Contour Layers die.

I started by die cutting the three layers of the blooms in three shades of orange and yellow cardstock. I cut the flower centers from a vibrant pink cardstock and then glued the layers together.

Next, I die cut the large branch from green cardstock.

For the background, I used the Gilded Petalpoint hot foil plate to dry emboss a 4.25″ x 5.5″ panel of white cardstock. Dry embossing is easily done by using the embossing pad that comes with most die cutting machines and the sandwich recommended by the machine’s manufacturer.

To finish, I used foam tape to adhere the branch and blooms to the dry-embossed panel. Then I added a sentiment from my stash and glued the card front to a card base.

I started by cutting the three layers of the Arista medallion from aqua, white, and lime cardstocks. I glued the layers together and then cut the piece in half using a rotary paper trimmer.

Hello and welcome! Seeka here and today I’m sharing a quick and easy card featuring the Crochet Snowflake Layer die set.

I cut the three beautiful layers of the snowflake from white, turquoise, and holographic cardstock and then glued the centers of the three layers together. I left the six tips of the snowflake unglued to let the layers separate and be more dimensional.

Next, I splattered a 4.25″ x 5.5″ panel of navy blue cardstock with white acrylic paint. When the paint was dry, I used foam tape to adhere the snowflake and a small sentiment from my stash. To finish, I glued the card front to a card base.

    Adornment Wreath | By Seeka

Hello and welcome! Seeka here and today I’m sharing a card featuring the Adornment Wreath die set. This set comes with two wreath layers. The detail layer can be layered directly over the base layer, or they can be offset as I did for this card.

I started by using the two layers to cut a piece of cardstock that I’d sprayed with different shades of green Dylusions Ink Sprays. I glued the two layers together, offsetting the detail layer to create a fuller wreath. Then, I glued small red berries around the wreath; the berries are die cut from two shades of red cardstock using a die from the Hillside Branch and Bramble Contour Layers die set.

I also cut a circle of white cardstock that was the same size as the inner circle of the wreath. I glued the wreath to this circle so that the center of the wreath is solid white. In the finished card, I think this helps the wreath stand out as the focal point against the background.

Next, I used the Herbarium Plate Layer A die to cut a piece of white cardstock. I glued the piece over a white card base and then used foam tape to adhere the wreath. I finished by adding a small sentiment from my stash.

Autumn Arista Layers | By Seeka

Hello and welcome! Seeka here and today I’m sharing a card featuring the Arista Layer die set in warm autumn colors.

I started off by die cutting the three layers of the Arista medallion. The detail layer A is cut from a persimmon color, the middle layer B from white cardstock, and the layer C from a medium orange cardstock. I glued and layered the three pieces together and then cut a solid circle from an orange-y yellow cardstock and glued it to the back of the medallion. Some great color options are available in the Sunny Orange 6×6 paper pack.

Next, I used the Pinpoint Radial Plate die to cut a panel of white cardstock. I glued the medallion to the panel and then added deep and light orange embellishments. To finish, I added a sentiment from my stash and glued the card front to a card base.

Hello and welcome! Seeka here and today I’m sharing a clean and simple card featuring the Curved Leaf Branch Contour Layers die set.

I started off by spraying a panel of heavy white cardstock with deep pink and orange ink sprays. When the sprays were dry, I cut the panel using the base layer of the Curved Leaf.

Next, I used the Pinpoint Contour Plate to cut a piece of white cardstock. I trimmed 3/8″ off both the length and width of the panel and then adhere the leaf to the panel using foam tape.

I finished by adding a hot foiled sentiment made with the Thank You Note script die, and gluing the card front to a 4.25″ x 5.5″ card base.
